1. How do I subscribe to the Journal of Medical Device Regulation?
Go to the 'Order form' link on the left hand side of the page. This will take you to the first stage of the subscription process. You can choose to pay on-line by clicking on the appropriate 'ORDER NOW!' link. Choose a 24-month subscription for a 5% saving. Alternatively you can choose to pay off-line (by bank transfer or cheque) by downloading and completing the fax-back order form.
2. How do I know what type of licence I need?
A single user licence is a personal subscription to the Journal and only the named subscriber will be able to access and read the Journal. A multiple user licence is a corporate subscription to the Journal, which enables a designated number of people within a single organisation (legal entity) to access and read the Journal (e.g. via a company intranet). Go to the 'Licence types' link on the left hand side of the page for full details of each licence type.
3. Can I see a sample copy of the Journal before I agree to subscribe?
Go to the 'Free sample' link on the left hand side of the page. Simply complete the form and you will automatically be taken to a page where you can download a free sample copy of the Journal of Medical Device Regulation.
4. What are the extra benefits of becoming a subscriber to the Journal?
As a subscriber to the Journal you will benefit from several special offers exclusive to subscribers. For example, you will be offered discounts on Bookstore publications, you can choose from seasonal special offers, you are eligible for registration fee discounts for events sponsored by our media partners and many more. 5. Which issue of the Journal will my new subscription start with?
New subscriptions to the Journal of Medical Device Regulation will normally commence with the current issue. If you would like your subscription to begin with an alternative issue then please email us and let us know. If you are using our fax-back order form, simply write your instruction somewhere on the order form.

7. I am already a subscriber to the Journal of Medical Device Regulation, how do I renew my current subscription?
When your subscription is due for renewal, you will be sent a personalised renewal form by email and by post for you to complete and return to us. Alternatively you can renew on-line by simply going to the 'Order form' link on the left hand side of the page. This will take you to the first stage of the subscription process. You can choose to pay on-line by clicking on the appropriate 'ORDER NOW!' link. Choose a 24-month subscription for a 5% saving. You can advise us of a re-subscription by entering your subscriber number in the appropriate box on the order form.
8. Can I pay in my local currency?
Orders placed on-line are charged by us in Pounds Sterling and will only be converted into your local currency by your credit card company. If you choose to pay off-line, you may request an invoice in Pounds Sterling, US Dollars or Euros. The price charged in US Dollars or Euros will be calculated from our standard rate in Pounds Sterling using the exchange rate valid on the day the invoice is raised.
9. Do I have to pay VAT on my order?
If your company is located in the UK, you will need to pay VAT on all orders. If your company is located in another European Union country, you will also be charged VAT unless you provide us with your VAT number. Companies located outside the European Union will not be charged any VAT.
10. You have charged me VAT but I am located in the EU and have a VAT number. Can I get a refund on the VAT?
If your company is located in a European Union country other than the UK, and you provide us with your VAT number, we will refund any VAT you may have paid.
11. How do I login to download the Journal?
Go to the 'Subscriber area' link on the left hand side of the page and then click on the 'Subscriber Access' button. You will then be asked to enter your username and password, both of which are case sensitive. When you have successfully entered this information you will automatically be taken to the subscribers-only area of our website. From here you can download the latest issue, see news and offers that are only available to subscribers etc.
12. What do I do if I forget my username?
Please email subscriptions@globalregulatorypress.com with your email address, subscriber contact name and subscriber number and we will re-send your username to you by email.

Please email subscriptions@globalregulatorypress.com with your email address, subscriber contact name, username and subscriber number and we will re-send your password to you by email.
14. I forgot to download an issue, what do I do?
If you missed an issue of the Journal, please send an email to subscriptions@ globalregulatorypress.com indicating your subscriber number and we will be happy to send you the missing issue by email.
15. How do I order a publication from the Bookstore?
Go to the 'Bookstore' link on the left hand side of the page, which lists all the publications that are currently available from the Bookstore. You can purchase publications on-line by clicking on the appropriate 'Add to Cart' button. Alternatively you can order off-line by downloading and completing our fax-back order form.
16. How long will it take for my Bookstore order to arrive?
Publications ordered through the Bookstore are usually sent out by email within 24 hours of payment being received. We process orders manually so there may be slight delays due to time differences, public holidays, etc.
17. Can I place an order over the telephone?
Yes, you can subscribe to the Journal of Medical Device Regulation or order publications from the Bookstore over the telephone by calling +44 (0)1305 770836. We can then raise an invoice for you to pay by cheque or bank transfer. Unfortunately, credit card payments cannot be accepted over the telephone.
18. How do I order back issues of the Journal?
Back issues of the Journal are only available for purchase by current subscribers from the subscribers-only area of the website. Non-subscribers can purchase single articles from our back issues library (excluding the two most recent issues). Go to the 'Reprints' link on the left hand side of the page for full details.
19. How do I subscribe to your FREE email alerts?
Go to the 'Join email list' link on the left hand side of the page. Simply complete the short form to receive headlines for each issue of the Journal on the day of publication plus details of future publications released through the Bookstore.
20. How do I unsubscribe from your email alerts?
Go to the 'Join email list' link on the left hand side of the page. Underneath the form you will see a link to click on to unsubscribe yourself from our email alerts. Please make sure you let us know your email address.
21. I would like to suggest a topic to be covered in the Journal of Medical Device Regulation, how do I do this?
If you are a current subscriber and there is a specific subject that interests you that has not yet been covered by the Journal, please send an email to editor@globalregulatorypress.com letting us know your suggestion.
22. I would like to publish an article in the Journal of Medical Device Regulation, how do I do this?
Go to the 'Write for us' link on the left hand side of the page where you will find information on the types of articles we accept, how they should be formatted, the submission procedure and the editing procedure. We cannot guarantee publication of any material submitted so it is advisable to send a short synopsis through to us first.
